About Warsaw SDA International Group
United in Diversity, Anchored in Faith
Welcome to the vibrant world of the Warsaw SDA International Group, a beacon of unity in the heart of Warsaw. Representing over 15 countries, we are a dynamic community of Seventh-day Adventists who celebrate our shared faith while embracing the beauty of our diverse cultures.
Thirteen years ago, in 2010, a group of students from abroad arrived in Warsaw seeking divine services. Little did we know that this encounter would mark the beginning of a transformative journey. As we integrated with the local church, a powerful bond was forged. Many among us immersed themselves in Polish culture, not only learning the language but also pursuing higher studies in the Polish language. This fusion of cultures and languages became the cornerstone of our remarkable unity.
Growing Together, Embracing Life’s Adventures
In 2016, our international family grew. To strengthen connections, we began an English Sabbath School group. From the break of the dawn till the setting sun on the sacred Sabbaths, we deepened our bond.
Current activities:
Worship in English – an international congregation with people from Asia, Africa, America and Europe. We have services in English; fully English sabbath school classes and divine services interpreted into English
Sabbath worship is followed by sharing lunch together and an all English afternoon service.
This is a very special service where we enjoy singing, bible study, prayer, bible games and fellowship in English.
On most summer Sundays we find time for some time for recreation and relaxation, playing volleyball, football, basketball, kayaking, and freebie.
On some bank holidays we organise trips to experience other cities in Poland.
Conventions:
In line with our divine mandate to preach the gospel to all the world, we have organised conventions to share an experience of our faith and service with our friends and neighbours.
We have plans to continue in outreach and ministry in creative ways.
Make disciples of Jesus Christ who live as His loving witnesses and proclaim to all people the everlasting gospel of the Three Angels’ Messages in preparation for His soon return (Matt 28:18-20, Acts 1:8, Rev 14:6-12).
Guided by the Bible and the Holy Spirit, Seventh-day Adventists pursue this mission through Christ-like living, communicating, discipling, teaching, healing, and serving.
In harmony with Bible revelation, Seventh-day Adventists see as the climax of God’s plan the restoration of all His creation to full harmony with His perfect will and righteousness.
Seventh-day Adventists accept the Bible as their only creed and hold certain fundamental beliefs to be the teaching of the Holy Scriptures. These beliefs, as set forth here, constitute the church’s understanding and expression of the teaching of Scripture. Revision of these statements may be expected at a General Conference Session when the church is led by the Holy Spirit to a fuller understanding of Bible truth or finds better language in which to express the teachings of God’s Holy Word.
